Only a year after the opening of a Nobu restaurant at the Puente Romano Beach Resort and Spa, the famous Nobu brand—named as one of the Top 25 Innovative Brands by the Robb Report—is launching its Nobu Hotel Marbella on March 29th, 2018. The move follows the success of the Nobu Hotel Ibiza, which is similarly a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH).
The Nobu Marbella boutique hotel is the latest member of SLH, and will add extra cachet to the celebrated Golden Mile that links Marbella to glamorous Puerto Banús. It is anticipated that Nobu Hotel Marbella will bring the unique style and design of one of the world’s best-regarded hotel and restaurant groups to one of the world’s most famous upmarket destinations.
The hotel has been created with the sophisticated guest in mind and offers a unique experience that blends the best of Andalusian charm, hospitality and unbeatable weather with the attention to detail, signature design and contemporary flair for which the Nobu brand is famous.
Veteran Hollywood star Robert de Niro is famously one of Nobu’s key investors, and supporter of the Japanese chef whose cutting-edge cuisine is at the heart of the Nobu name. Not surprisingly, really, as Nobu Marbella promises much that fits a ‘silver screen’ lifestyle. Guests can enjoy the finest cocktails from the roving mixology cart while lounging on Nobu Hotel’s private beach, or secluded swimming pool. Nobu signature dishes will be served in the comfort of guests’ suites, along with in-room signature Nobu wellness treatments. Guests can also enjoy private access to ‘La Suite’, Marbella’s hottest nightclub, located on-site at the Puente Romano. The hotel’s facilities also include a Six Senses Spa, a world-class tennis club, a Dave Thomas designed golf-course and an equestrian centre, plus exclusive conference and event venues.
Nobu Hotel Marbella guests will of course enjoy priority access to the Nobu restaurant—the first to open in Spain—offering familiar favourites such as Black Cod Miso, Yellowtail Jalapeño and Tiradito, alongside unique dishes inspired by Marbella itself.
Trevor Horwell, Chief Executive Officer of Nobu Hotels commented: “Continuing our global expansion we are delighted that Nobu Hotel Marbella will be our fourth hotel in Europe. A game changer for Marbella, the Nobu adults-only experience has been crafted with the highest standard of luxury, service and fun and positioned to be the ultimate adult playground for grown-ups.”
