Marbella (Málaga) 27 August. – Marbella, and the Golden Triangle as a whole, has one of the best luxury hotel offers in the country, yet more and more travellers in this sector prefer to spend their holidays in a private villa or premium apartment, seeking privacy and discretion. Pure Living Properties, a leading agency in high quality holiday rentals, has experienced a 30% increase in the number of bookings recorded in the last twelve months.

Specifically, the company has registered more than 320 bookings between January and August, compared to 244 bookings during the same period in 2023. In fact, the numbers booked so far already exceed those of the whole of last year. ‘2024 has been a very positive year for Pure Living Properties and for the entire luxury holiday rental sector, and there are still strong seasons such as the autumn and Christmas long weekends, so we expect growth to be significantly higher than the current 30%,’ says Javier Nieto, CEO of the company.

According to data from this real estate agency, the average stay of travellers has increased by 7.22% to 18.26 days, a figure much higher than those recorded in the standard holiday rental segment where the average stay is between 5 and 7 days.

Pure Living Properties has a catalogue of some 150 properties for rent, offering premium service for both owners and clients, to whom it completely personalises their stay, designing tailor-made experiences.

‘We want our clients to enjoy all that Marbella has to offer in the same way that we do, so we take care of everything they need to make their stay as exquisite as possible. We also provide homeowners with a comprehensive service, so they don’t have to worry about anything,’ explains Nieto.
The exclusive catalogue of properties managed by this company ranges from majestic mansions in the most exclusive locations, to brand new semi-detached houses or luxury apartments and duplexes with high quality services. ‘Our offer is so diverse that guests can enjoy a villa with panoramic views from 1,000 euros per night, an apartment near Puerto Banús for a very affordable price or a mansion that exceeds 10,000 euros per night,’ says Nieto.

Angel del Mar, located on the beachfront on the Golden Mile and with spectacular views of the Mediterranean, is another of the most exclusive properties with a price tag of over 10,000 euros per day.

between the different properties.

‘Although we have very high priced villas, which of course are also rented out, the most sought after properties are those between 1,000 and 3,000 euros per night. Among our clients we have large international fortunes and top businessmen, but also many families who come to Marbella to enjoy their holidays, fall in love with the city and then decide to invest in order to have their own home here. A client profile that especially values the privacy, tranquillity and security that comes with staying in a private villa, where one of the most coveted values is discretion, an aspect to which Pure Living Properties is particularly committed. ‘We have a portfolio of clients who come back every year, because they value the personalised attention and the close but discreet treatment that our team provides to each one of them,’ adds the CEO.

One of the most outstanding aspects of this type of accommodation is its impact on the local economy, as the average expenditure per person per day can even reach 6,000 euros, a figure higher than that of travellers staying in hotels in the same segment and much higher than that of standard holiday homes, which according to data from the Tourist Expenditure Survey (EGATUR) stands at around 170 euros per person per day.
