Where is Los Naranjos Golf Club?

Los Naranjos is one of the best golf courses in Spain, situated in the famous “Marbella Golf Valley”, only a few minutes from Puerto Banús and its beaches, Marbella and San Pedro. Amongst the lush greenery of the Nueva Andalucía golf courses, its quiet gated and guarded urbanisations. Who designed Los Naranjos Golf Club?

Los Naranjos has a classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. design with wide fairways, bunkers and strategically placed water hazards. The greens with Penn A4 grass are wide and undulating. The tees are long and have four positions: red, yellow, white and black, with course lengths ranging from 5054 to 6564 metres. The beauty of the golf course adds enormous value to all the properties adjoining it. The many shades of green, the freshness, the feeling of spaciousness, the sound of the fountains and the exotic fauna attracted to the area, make Los Naranjos a desirable location. For all these reasons Los Naranjos was elected Golf Course of the year of the Costa del Sol 2005 & 2008, respectively.

What tournaments are there in 2022?

The year is starting, so get ready for some great tournaments to come. This 2022 offers us the Ladies Summer League and Marbella the One.

What other tournaments have been played?

Los Naranjos Golf has been a golf reference throughout Spain, since its inauguration in 1977, great golf events have been enjoyed. In 1988 it started with the Ladies Open de Marbella, belonging to the Ladies European Tour, and the following year with the PGA Championship of Spain. Last year the Open de España Femenino was held here.

On the golf course itself we find the Los Naranjos restaurant and very close to it the restaurant Chez Philippe. Near Avenida Cervantes there are many restaurants such as, Asador El Naranjo, Restaurante La Campana, BAO Garden, MUMBAI CITY INDIAN, Taj Mahal Marbella, Restaurante Manga, Charlie’s Corner, Sidrería Manolo Marbella, Tomodachi Marbella y Bar La Fuente. Near Avenida Valle Inclán we find Bar Charly, Wheels Café Marbella, Anca chips y Gö gastrobar. And finally in Calle Quevedo we have Beïty Marbella, Bar & Cafeteria Tobi, Pizzeria Albatros, PIZZERIA IL METRO y Pizzeria Milano.

In addition to golf, you can find various ways to exercise. Playing other sports, such as football at Marbella Football Center  o CD Sportcab Marbella. There are also several gyms in the area such as CrossFit Marbella, Crosswork fitness, LAMAISON CROSSFIT and Gimnasio Omega.. You can rent a bike for a ride at Marbella Rent A Bike, do some yoga at Ushna Yoga or even horse riding at Equitación Pedro Sánchez.

Close to Aloha is the Lago de Las Tortugas, a place to enjoy nature and a swim. There is also the Pantano Viejo del Ángel. And around the city there are many parks and promenades such as the Paseo Ramón Garzón.
